Designing for a Blooming Brand
about.
A meaningful friendship blossomed between me and my wedding florist, leading to a heartfelt collaboration. She commissioned me to design custom bouquet tags to accompany her floral arrangements for clients.
The concept behind the tag was intentionally multifaceted: a small but mighty piece that could serve as a branding touchpoint, a space for personalised messages, and a thoughtful guide containing essential flower-care tips.
Through considered typography, gentle textures, and a layout that balances function with beauty, the tags elevate the gifting experience while reflecting the florist’s warmth and craftsmanship. This project celebrates both our creative partnership and the intimate stories carried within every bouquet.
explorations
The exploration phase centered on finding a balance between beauty, functionality, and the intimate nature of gifting flowers. Early sketches tested a range of compositions—some leaning more decorative with notes from florist, others prioritising space for handwritten notes and care instructions. I experimented with various tag shapes, hole placements, and proportions to ensure the design felt visually refined without overwhelming the bouquet itself.
result.
The final bouquet tag design became a small yet powerful extension of the florist’s brand. Each tag seamlessly balances beauty and practicality, offering a space for heartfelt messages while subtly reinforcing the florist’s identity through consistent typography and visual language
